This assignment is within the automotive aftermarket domain and focuses on leading the technical direction of complex software and system initiatives. You will combine hands-on technical expertise with strong leadership to secure high-quality delivery, support innovation, and ensure reliable, compliant solutions in close collaboration with architecture, engineering, product, and business stakeholders.

• Define and communicate the technical vision, architecture, and best practices together with the Solution Architect.
• Mentor Product Owners and developers, and promote knowledge sharing across teams.
• Act as a bridge between engineering, product, and business functions.
• Lead the technical aspects of project planning and execution.
• Identify and mitigate technical risks early in the development cycle.
• Ensure timely delivery of high-quality software solutions.
• Serve as the main technical point of contact for high-priority projects.
• Drive innovation and continuous improvement of technical solutions.
• Support technical audits related to legal compliance.

• Deep understanding of vehicle diagnostics, SWDL, software architecture, and system integration with 25+ years documented experience.
• Thorough understanding of the automotive aftermarket and vehicle project life cycle.
• Proven ability to lead technical teams and manage complex projects within the automotive aftermarket domain with 15+ years experience.
• Strong proficiency in relevant technologies, programming languages, and frameworks.
• Documented experience of SUMS/CSMS and similar legislation and audits.
• Ability to balance technical depth with business priorities.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Collaborative and proactive way of working.
