About the AssignmentYou will join a cross-functional logistics environment in the automotive sector, supporting the movement of test vehicles, spare parts, and related goods across international markets.
The role is central to customs compliance and end-to-end import/export flows, with close collaboration across logistics, purchasing, finance, legal, and external logistics partners.
Job Description- Ensure imports and exports comply with EU, Swedish, and Chinese customs regulations.
- Review and validate customs documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, declarations, certificates of origin, and HS classifications.
- Classify automotive components and finished goods using HS codes and determine duties, tariffs, and taxes.
- Monitor regulatory changes and update internal customs processes accordingly.
- Conduct internal audits, identify risk areas, and recommend corrective actions.
- Serve as the main point of contact for customs-related matters for internal stakeholders and external logistics partners.
Requirements- Licensed customs broker/specialist.
- Bachelor's degree in logistics.
- Experience in customs, international logistics, import/export compliance, or freight forwarding.
- Strong documentation management and data analysis skills, with high accuracy in time-sensitive situations.
- Strong communication skills for working with authorities and internal stakeholders.
- Native-level Swedish and fluent English.
Nice to have- Experience in the automotive industry or a fast-paced scale-up environment.
- Familiarity with Chinese customs documentation and international logistics flows.
- Knowledge of ERP systems, customs filing platforms, and logistics systems.
