Company context

VNT-001 AB is a Sweden-based operating company that builds and owns multiple brands across biotech/public-health products (institutional/B2B) and consumer health (supplements). The company runs a shared internal team and shared infrastructure across brands including manufacturing, packaging, regulatory coordination, logistics, and go-to-market execution. One biotech/public-health platform has fulfilled a ~$6M U.S. state-level contract for large-scale distribution of a public-health testing product. All work is internal and there is no client or agency work.

Short role summary

You will implement and customize Shopify, Shopify Plus, and WooCommerce websites used across the portfolio. The work is engineering-heavy including theme architecture, performance optimization, checkout logic, integrations, and scalable component systems. The role spans both eCommerce storefronts and product or informational sites.

Key responsibilities

• Customize Shopify and Shopify Plus themes using Liquid, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
• Build reusable storefront components and sections that scale across SKUs and brands
• Implement PDP, cart, and checkout improvements aligned with UX specifications
• Develop and maintain WooCommerce-based websites used for product sales, information, and marketing infrastructure
• Integrate third-party apps and APIs including subscriptions, reviews, analytics, and fulfillment
• Optimize site performance including load speed, responsiveness, and technical stability
• Maintain deployment discipline including version control, testing, and clean release processes
• Coordinate with design and marketing to translate UX and UI designs into reliable production code

Required skills / experience

• 1 year working with Shopify, Shopify Plus or WooCommerce storefront development
• Experience building and customizing WooCommerce websites
• Strong Liquid, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS proficiency
• Experience customizing Shopify themes rather than relying on pre-built templates
• Familiarity with performance optimization and storefront debugging
• Comfortable working with third-party integrations and APIs
• Clean engineering discipline including version control, documentation, and maintainable code

You are an implementation-focused developer who understands both engineering and eCommerce operations. You write clean, stable code and can translate design specifications into production-ready storefront and website systems.
