The role has a particular focus on international corporate taxation, and you will be expected to navigate complex cross-border tax matters with confidence and precision. You will join a skilled tax team in a fast-growing company with increasing complexity. The main location for this role is in Linköping but Stockholm is also an option. Your role involves participating in the execution of tax risk analysies and providing support to the operational business areas, the development of tax strategies to reduce risks and costs, ensuring correct tax treatment when executing contracts, as well as driving process automation and digitalization for tax related processes. You will collaborate closely with other group functions when assisting the business with expertise, support and advice. Your main tasks are: * Identify tax risks and provide support to mitigate risk in relation to complex international tax matters covering both direct and indirect taxes throughout the bid and negotiation process for the Saab Group's cross-border business opportunities * Supporting the set-up of new business operations and project execution for the purpose of ensuring tax efficient transactions and global tax compliance * Develop and implement tax strategies to minimize risks and identify opportunities for tax savings * Monitor changes in tax legislation and assess their impact on Saab's business * Support the Group with general tax advice in relation to different projects, provide training and contribute to a continuous internal exchange of knowledge within the tax field Your Profile You bring at least 10 years of experience working with advanced international tax matters, gained at a leading advisory firm, as an in-house specialist or within the Tax Authorities. You have excellent knowledge of international corporate taxation and issues relating to the application of provisions on permanent establishments and withholding taxes, particularly related to royalty related matters, as well as the interpretation of double taxation agreements. You are comfortable analyzing tax implications from both a direct and indirect tax perspective and understand how different tax areas interact within a broader business context and can confidently communicate your knowledge with the business. Professional fluency in Swedish and English is required. You communicate confidently both verbally and in writing. Personal qualities are critical for success in this position. You are a natural leader who takes initiative, makes decisions with confidence, and drives matters from start to finish. You are solution-oriented and thrive on solving complex problems in a pragmatic and business-focused manner. You are pedagogical and able to explain complex tax matters in a clear and accessible way to non-specialists. Finally, you are a true team player who enjoys working in a small, high-performing team. You take ownership of your responsibilities while supporting your colleagues, always keeping the broader organizational perspective ahead of individual agendas. This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection.
