Job Description
We are looking for a VIL (Vehicle-in-the-Loop) Rig Engineer for our client.
In this role, you will:
Work within the operational team responsible for Vehicle-in-the-Loop (VIL) test rigs
Operate and manage automotive test rigs
Perform rig fault tracing and troubleshooting
Conduct software and vehicle testing
Support automation and test environment optimization
Plan rig usage and ensure high operational efficiency
The role requires both strong hands-on technical capability and the ability to work in a rapidly changing environment with a proactive mindset.
Experience Required
Although not explicitly stated, for an Intermediate-level role, typically:
3–5+ years of experience in automotive testing, embedded systems, or vehicle test environments
Experience working with automotive communication protocols
Practical experience in electrical and mechanical troubleshooting
Experience with complete vehicle testing

Basetech Testing (SWDL, Diagnostics, Gateway)
Log Analysis (CANoe, Wireshark, DLT)
Electrical fault tracing in test environments
Mechanical and electrical knowledge
Vector Tools (CANoe / CANalyzer)
Deep understanding of CAN / LIN / Ethernet protocols
Swedish driver license
