Assignment Overview
We are looking for a Senior Mechanical Development Engineer
What You Will Work On
- Drive mechanical development within CAB design for special vehicles, from early concept phases through detailed design and industrialization.
- Take full ownership of technical solutions, ensuring functionality, robustness, manufacturability, and short lead times.
- Identify technical challenges early and develop innovative, practical engineering solutions.
- Design, build, modify, and test physical prototypes in close collaboration with workshop teams.
- Iterate rapidly between concept, CAD design, physical testing, and refinement to achieve optimal solutions.
- Contribute significantly during the early concept stage, influencing architecture, packaging, and technical direction of the CAB product.
- Work cross-functionally with engineering teams to ensure alignment between design intent and production feasibility.
- Apply creative problem-solving techniques to complex engineering challenges in a dynamic development environment.
What You Bring
- Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- 5–7+ years of mechanical development experience within the automotive industry.
- Experience within CAB development or closely related automotive structures is highly valued.
- Proven track record of taking products from concept phase through to production.
