DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a structured, commercially driven Product Manager to join our global Messaging organization.

This role spans two critical areas of our platform.

First, you will focus on the core of our business: continuously optimizing our global Messaging routing engine to maximize cost efficiency and increase automation across internal processes. Your work will directly influence margin performance and operational scalability

Second, you will own product strategy for internal access management and tooling across Sinch’s messaging platforms. This includes defining and governing access rights, permissions, and user tooling to ensure the right level of access to messaging systems—while upholding the highest standards of security, compliance, and auditability.

As traffic across Sinch’s platform continues to grow at significant scale, your contribution will be pivotal in ensuring we remain the most intelligent, cost-efficient, and high-performing A2P messaging platform in the market. You will drive product initiatives that directly impact Gross Profit (GP), delivery quality, and operational excellence.

You will collaborate closely with Engineering, Data Science, Operations, and Commercial teams to deliver measurable improvements in efficiency, automation, and cost performance.

This role reports to the SMS Product Director and is based in Stockholm with a hybrid working setup.

What you’ll do:

  • Own and execute the product roadmap for internal access management, defining roles, permissions, and governance models across messaging systems and tooling to ensure secure, compliant, and scalable operations.
  • Lead the product strategy for operational efficiency within Messaging, identifying and prioritizing initiatives that improve automation, scalability, cost control, and delivery performance.
  • Partner with Engineering, Security, and IT to design and implement robust, auditable access-control frameworks that protect sensitive data and tools while enabling operational agility.
  • Collaborate with Engineering and Operations to eliminate manual processes, driving automation that improves reliability, reduces operational overhead, and minimizes revenue leakage.
  • Define, track, and own KPIs related to cost efficiency, operational performance, and Gross Profit optimization, ensuring data-driven prioritization and measurable business impact.
  • Continuously enhance our messaging platform through experimentation and data-driven iteration, leveraging analytics and feedback loops to unlock performance improvements at scale.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively with stakeholders across time zones, translating complex technical and data insights into tangible business outcomes.

REQUIREMENTS

  • An experienced Product Manager, Technical Product Owner, or Business Analyst with strong analytical and operational skills.
  • Experience in telecoms, A2P/P2P messaging, or large-scale infrastructure optimization is highly desirable.
  • Hands-on experience with internal access management, RBAC, permissions, or identity-related systems.
  • Data-driven, with a solid grasp of SQL, data analysis, and BI tools (e.g., Qlik, Tableau). Hands-on comfort with data is essential.
  • Highly collaborative—you can influence and build strong relationships with Engineering, Operations, and Commercial teams.
  • Structured and outcome-oriented, with a proven ability to simplify complexity and prioritize for maximum business impact.
  • A self-starter who thrives in a global, fast-paced environment and is passionate about using data to drive business results.
  • Bachelor’s Degree required; a background in a technical or business discipline is preferred.
