Nova was founded in 2024 with a simple thesis: psychiatric care can be delivered with higher quality, better patient experience, and greater operational excellence than what exists today.
In less than two years, we’ve grown to 50+ employees and a 70 MSEK annual run rate — profitable every single month since launch.
We focus on assessment and treatment of ADHD, autism, and other psychiatric conditions. Our strategy is built on three pillars:
• Exceptional patient experience
• Clinical quality
• Operational efficiency
Our ambition is clear: to show how well psychiatry can function — and to become Europe’s leading psychiatric care provider. We are building a company where growth and profitability matter, but always as a means to a larger purpose: improving access to high-quality mental health care and meaningfully impacting people’s lives.
We combine modern technology, clear processes, and strong execution to scale responsibly. Now we’re entering the next phase: building the systems that take us from 50 to 200+ employees — without losing speed or control.
About the RoleThis is a true operational role at the center of the company. As Chief of Staff, you won’t sit next to the engine — you’ll help build it. This is a role with real ownership, real exposure, and a clear path to significantly increased responsibility as we scale.
This is a great chance to help build something meaningful at a high pace.
You will work directly with the CEO and COO to design and implement the structures, processes, and performance systems that enable scale. Not PowerPoints. Not coordination. Real operating leverage.
Your mandate is simple:
Make Nova more scalable, more structured, and more efficient — every month.
The role is broad by design. Your focus will shift based on where the highest leverage is. What remains constant is ownership.
What You’ll Do1. Operational Infrastructure
Design and implement processes, workflows, and systems that allow Nova to scale without losing quality. Identify bottlenecks, fragility, and inefficiencies — and fix them.
2. KPI & Performance Architecture
Build the KPI frameworks and reporting structures that give leadership real-time visibility. Define what matters, ensure clean data, and turn metrics into decisions.
3. Process Design & Documentation
Map how we operate today. Standardize what works. Eliminate what doesn’t. Create documentation that enables consistency across teams, clinics, and geographies.
4. Cross-Functional Execution
Drive high-priority initiatives across HR, finance, clinical operations, tech, and expansion. Take projects from idea to implementation — and ensure adoption.
5. CEO Leverage
Act as force multiplier to the CEO and COO. Structure complex problems, synthesize inputs, and convert strategy into execution.
What you’ll do will most likely change during our journey, but the above gives a good picture of what the coming 12-24 months will be mainly about.
Who You Are• 2–6 years of experience in a challenging role e.g. within MBB Consulting, private equity, or a high-growth scaleup with strong operational exposure
• Highly structured and analytical
• Obsessed with processes, systems, and clarity
• Comfortable building performance tracking from scratch
• Execution-oriented — you don’t wait for permission
• Fluent in Swedish (C1 or equivalent)
You think in systems. You see chaos and instinctively create structure. You care about how things actually work — not how they look on a slide.
Recruitment Process1. Application
Submit your contact details, upload your CV and include a short introduction about yourself.
2. CV Screening
We review applications on a rolling basis and assess experience, track record and overall fit with the scope of the role.
3. Psychometric Assessments
Selected candidates will complete two online psychometric assessments (approximately 20–30 minutes in total). The tests are used as a complement to interviews to support a structured and objective evaluation.
4. Video Interviews
Candidates who move forward will be invited to one or two video interviews via Teams. These conversations focus on your experience, how you think, and how you have built and scaled teams or organisations.
5. Final Case Interview (On-site, Stockholm)
The final stage is a more in-depth case interview conducted at our office in Stockholm. You will work through a realistic business scenario relevant to the role and meet key members of the leadership team.
