We are looking for an experienced Sales Manager to develop and grow our customer base in Sweden. Using your deep understanding of the timber construction market, you will identify business opportunities, drive sales, and build strong, lasting relationships with both existing and new customers. Your work will ensure that our sales pipeline is always full, and you will work closely with clients to close deals and manage their accounts effectively.

Your tasks and responsibilities will include:

  • Promote Stora Enso and increase brand awareness in your region
  • Actively identify project opportunities regarding Cross Laminated Timber (CLT) and convert into sales
  • Maintain CRM systems to track and manage current projects and potential clients
  • Manage your sales pipeline to achieve targets
  • Collaborate with internal teams to create offers, process orders, and ensure successful delivery of products

The position reports to the Sales Director, Building Solutions Northern Europe, Wood & Energy. You can be based in one of our offices in Sweden with flexibility to work remotely. The role will require travel.

Who are we looking for

We are looking for a person with a curious attitude that wants to develop. We believe you are a confident negotiator, capable of closing deals, and work in a structured, self-driven, and highly organized way, and a team-oriented and collaborative mindset comes naturally to you. You are also proficient in IT systems such as Microsoft Office and CRM tools, and fluent in both English and Swedish.

Skills we expect you to have:

  • Proven experience from a commercial role in Sales, Marketing, or Business Development within the building or construction sector
  • A strong technical understanding of Mass Timber construction
  • You are skilled at identifying customer needs and proposing tailored solutions, and you excel at building and maintaining strong customer relationships
  • Understanding of national building codes, the construction value chain and CLT (Cross laminated Timber) as well as a strong network within the building industry are bonus skills
