This role is for a Lunch Chef who takes pride in efficiency, organisation, and delivering consistent quality during high-intensity service windows.

You will work in a structured kitchen with clear standards. Service is fast, focused, and time-sensitive. The satisfaction comes from being fully prepared before doors open, executing with speed and precision, and finishing service knowing everything ran smoothly because you were in control.

Lunch is about rhythm and discipline. Progress in this role comes from consistency, ownership of your section, and the ability to perform under pressure every single day. People who do well enjoy structure, clear expectations, and the challenge of delivering quality at pace without compromising standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and run the lunch section independently

• Prepare and organise mise en place to ensure full readiness before lunch service

• Execute dishes quickly and precisely according to recipes and quality standards

• Maintain speed and structure during high-volume lunch hours

• Ensure smooth communication with kitchen and front of house during service

• Keep your section clean, organised, and fully reset after service

• Support preparation for evening service when required

• Ensure full compliance with company HACCP standards

Key Requirements

• Proven experience in a similar fast-paced kitchen role

• Strong time management and ability to perform under pressure

• High level of organisation and structured work approach

• Good communication skills and ability to coordinate during peak service

• Solid understanding of food safety and hygiene regulations

• Ability to work independently and take full ownership of lunch operations

• Consistent delivery of quality dishes in a high-volume, time-sensitive environment
