Assignment Overview

We are looking for an experienced System Architect

What You Will Work On

• Define and develop system and software architectures for embedded vehicle systems.
• Design architectures for control units, communication interfaces, and distributed vehicle functions.
• Perform architectural analysis, design documentation, and technical evaluations.
• Ensure interface consistency, modular design, and long-term maintainability.
• Support development teams with architectural guidance and technical decision-making.
• Review design, implementation, and integration results.
• Collaborate closely with system engineers, developers, and platform architects.
• Align solutions with adjacent architectural domains and vehicle-level strategies.
• Contribute to development activities in an agile/Scrum environment.

What You Bring

• Solid experience working as a system architect or senior embedded software developer.
• Strong understanding of real-time systems, distributed architectures, and embedded platforms.
• Excellent knowledge of C++ or similar programming languages used in embedded environments.
• Ability to structure complex technical systems and drive architecture decisions.
• Strong collaboration, leadership, and communication skills.
• Professional proficiency in English; Swedish is considered an advantage.
• Experience within the automotive industry, preferably heavy vehicles or bus applications.
• Knowledge of automotive technologies and standards such as ISO 26262 and communication protocols like CAN, LIN, or J1939.
• Experience with model-based development, CI/CD pipelines, and embedded testing frameworks is beneficial.
• Documented previous experience working with the client within embedded systems, software development, or architecture is mandatory.
