You will join a global team within the powertrain and manufacturing industry, working with the design, implementation and operation of enterprise network infrastructure across multiple sites. The assignment focuses on ensuring strong security, reliability and performance for both wired and wireless environments, and on continuously improving operations through modern tooling and automation.

A key part of the work is optimizing and developing network access and management solutions such as Cisco ISE and Catalyst Center (or equivalent technologies).

• Design, implement and manage wired and wireless network infrastructure.
• Ensure network security, availability and performance in a global environment.
• Work with Network Access Control, with a particular focus on 802.1X.
• Manage and maintain firewall platforms (e.g., Fortigate, Palo Alto).
• Support and improve WAN technologies such as SD-WAN and MPLS.
• Drive monitoring and automation initiatives to strengthen operational excellence.
• Optimize solutions such as Cisco ISE and Catalyst Center to improve standardization and efficiency.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Professional certification such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of network protocols and technologies, especially 802.1X.
• Hands-on experience with network monitoring and automation.
• Solid experience managing firewalls (e.g., Fortigate, Palo Alto).
• In-depth knowledge of SD-WAN and MPLS.

• Strong understanding of network security principles and best practices (segmentation, NAC, firewalling, zero trust concepts).
• Experience with observability and troubleshooting tools and methods (SNMP, NetFlow, logs, packet inspection).
• Hands-on experience with enterprise wireless networking (design, deployment, RF optimization, troubleshooting, 802.11 / 802.1X).
• Infrastructure as Code experience (Terraform, Ansible, Python or similar).
• Familiarity with SDN technologies and modern network automation concepts.
