About the AssignmentIn this assignment, you will forecast spare parts demand and optimize inventory to meet that demand in a global, fast-changing supply chain.
You will work closely with business stakeholders and colleagues within Service Operations & Technology, helping drive Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) while contributing to a cloud-native planning solution on Azure (PlanIT) that supports the planning capability end-to-end.
Job Description- Forecast spare parts demand and translate insights into inventory recommendations
- Optimize inventory levels through simulations, analyses, and continuous improvements
- Drive and participate in cross-functional S&OP collaboration with internal stakeholders
- Analyze large datasets and present conclusions in a clear, actionable way to both peers and senior management
- Contribute to the development and evolution of a cloud-native planning solution on Azure (PlanIT)
Requirements- Strong analytical skills and the ability to work with large datasets
- Ability to present analysis results in a comprehensible manner
- Proficiency in effective English communication with peers and senior management
- University studies within Industrial Engineering, Statistics, Computer Science, Logistics, or another relevant field
Nice to have- Experience in logistics and inventory management (from studies or work)
- Interest in deepening skills in Python, SQL, and Power BI
- Interest in agile ways of working
- Interest in working with cloud services (Azure, AWS)
