In this assignment, you will forecast spare parts demand and optimize inventory to meet that demand in a global, fast-changing supply chain. You will work closely with business stakeholders and colleagues within Service Operations & Technology, helping drive Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) while contributing to a cloud-native planning solution on Azure (PlanIT) that supports the planning capability end-to-end.

• Forecast spare parts demand and translate insights into inventory recommendations
• Optimize inventory levels through simulations, analyses, and continuous improvements
• Drive and participate in cross-functional S&OP collaboration with internal stakeholders
• Analyze large datasets and present conclusions in a clear, actionable way to both peers and senior management
• Contribute to the development and evolution of a cloud-native planning solution on Azure (PlanIT)

• Strong analytical skills and the ability to work with large datasets
• Ability to present analysis results in a comprehensible manner
• Proficiency in effective English communication with peers and senior management
• University studies within Industrial Engineering, Statistics, Computer Science, Logistics, or another relevant field

• Experience in logistics and inventory management (from studies or work)
• Interest in deepening skills in Python, SQL, and Power BI
• Interest in agile ways of working
• Interest in working with cloud services (Azure, AWS)
