The opportunity

EY is scaling its Nordic Financial Services Technology Consulting practice with a clear ambition to double the business over the next four years. We see substantial untapped potential across the Danish and broader Nordic insurance markets.

This is not a traditional delivery or capability leadership role. As an Insurance Account Technology Lead (ATL), you will operate at the intersection of client leadership, commercial ownership and technology advisory. You will act as a trusted advisor to CIOs and technology leadership teams while building and scaling EY’s long-term technology position across priority insurance accounts.

This role offers a unique opportunity to shape EY’s technology growth in the Nordic insurance sector and to work directly with senior client stakeholders on large-scale transformation agendas.

Your key responsibilities

• Act as EY’s trusted advisor to CIOs, CTOs, CDOs and technology leadership
• Build and execute growth strategies for priority insurance accounts
• Drive technology sales, pipeline development and delivery
• Position EY as a leading transformation partner across core, data, digital and cloud agendas
• Connect client needs with EY’s global technology capabilities, alliances and ecosystem
• Shape account strategy together with Account and Nordic leadership
• Develop repeatable insurance technology offerings and go-to-market plays
• Lead cross-functional collaboration across Nordic and global EY teams

This role combines senior client engagement, commercial ownership and technology leadership, and is suited for candidates who want to operate at the intersection of advisory, sales and delivery.

Specific focus areas – Insurance Technology Lead

• Build and scale EY’s technology presence in the Danish insurance market
• Establish trusted relationships with CIO organizations and senior technology stakeholders
• Drive transformation across core modernization, digital platforms, data and AI
• Support development of industry-specific solutions and Nordic go-to-market plays

Skills and attributes for success

Professional competencies

• Strong consulting background from a leading firm (Big4, Accenture, Capgemini or similar)
• Extensive experience within Insurance and Financial Services
• Proven ability to engage and influence technology executives at CIO / CTO level
• Experience with large-scale technology transformation programmes within Insurance
• Strong commercial mindset with demonstrated responsibility for originating and closing technology consulting opportunities
• Ability to operate in a Nordic, cross-border environment

Ideally, you’ll also have

• Experience building pipeline and leading complex technology engagements
• Experience scaling consulting offerings, practices or teams
• Experience working within preferred supplier or strategic vendor frameworks
