If so, this role may be exactly what you are looking for. We are now searching for an Operations Data Lead that will take a central role in Axis' upcoming ERP transformation. In this position, you will have a unique opportunity to form and shape our approach to data within the program, taking lead in mapping data needs, creating the data migration strategy and leading the execution. Even if this is the primary focus, you will also have the opportunity to form and build the overall approach to data within Operations, Including creating relevant forums, structures and ways of working going forward.
Who is your future team?
Operations is the part of Axis' organization that is responsible for the supply and distribution of our products. We are also the link between Axis R&D and our global market, working with industrialization of new products. This includes e.g., Purchasing, Order Handling, Production, Sourcing, Production Preparation, Sales & Operations Planning, Quality & Environment, and Logistics. We define our end-to-end supply chain as "n" tier supplier all the way to our end customers.
Today we are closer to 500 people working within Operations. Based in Lund, we interact with other Axis departments and a worldwide network of customers, distributors, suppliers, manufacturing partners, and our configuration and logistics centers.
What you'll do here as Operations Data Lead - ERP Program?
In this role you are part of our Operations Development Analytics organization. Operations Development is divided into four areas of responsibility: Analytics and BI, Cross functional projects & systems, Innovation and Digital transformation. You will work closely with many of our colleagues in Operations Development, but especially with the domain architects and head architect in our IT organization.
Your main responsibilities will be:
* Define the data management approach for the Operations and Supply Chain organization in the ERP program
* Map as-is and define to-be state of ERP data, identify and plan for differences between current and new ERP
* Ensure clear data ownership, governance, and decision rules across processes and streams in collaboration with process leads, subject matter experts and IT
* Drive data cleansing, validation, and reconciliation activities, ensuring data quality meets go-live requirements
* Ensure ERP data models, interfaces, and integrations support end-to-end processes and downstream reporting needs
* Lead data-related testing (mock migrations, reconciliation, cutover validation) and ensure data stability during go-live
* Representing Operations in data governance forums
Who are we looking for/Who are you?
You effortlessly navigate strategic, tactical, and operational challenges, capable of moving from high-level process goals and to-be states to specific ERP data fields. You thrive in ambiguous environments, proactively creating structure where it's needed most. With a strong ability to adapt relevant frameworks and apply in a pragmatic way, you ensure and prioritize adoption and business value. You are pragmatic and aren't afraid to be hands-on when the situation demands it. Furthermore, you are adept at building relationships and your exceptional communication skills allow you to distil complex operational challenges into clear, understandable messages for diverse audiences, making the complex simple for many.
We also think you have:
* Minimum B.Sc. but preferably a M.Sc. Your studies were focused on computer science, information technology or other relevant disciplines.
* At least 7 years of relevant professional experience in a global environment.
* You have experience and a proven track record of initiating, executing, and completing data governance or MDM programs in a global company.
* Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 is considered a merit.
* Preferably both worked in line and matrix organization.
* Worked with supply chain or operations development and in the intersection between supply chain and IT. Experienced in ERP and other adjacent systems
