About the AssignmentFor a global industrial organization within advanced automation and robotics, we are looking for a Senior Software Engineer with a strong background in C#/.NET desktop development.
You will join a distributed R&D environment where teams contribute specialized expertise to create advanced software solutions for robotic programming, modeling, simulation, and offline programming.
The work is carried out in close collaboration with end users and plays an important role in shaping future solutions for industrial and collaborative robotics.
Collaboration is central to the assignment, and the work is primarily performed on-site.
Job Description- Develop and maintain commercial-grade desktop applications using C# and
• NET
- Contribute to software solutions for robotic programming, simulation, modeling, and offline programming
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional R&D colleagues in a distributed setup
- Work with structured engineering practices including documentation, unit testing, and integration testing
- Analyze technical trade-offs and help prioritize for long-term product quality and scalability
Requirements- Proven professional experience in C# and
• NET development, including robust desktop applications
- Experience with WPF
- Experience with C++
- Solid understanding of the
• NET framework and its capabilities for scalable and efficient software
- Experience working in a structured development environment, including unit and integration testing
- Professional fluency in English
- B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field
- Ability to work primarily on-site
Nice to have- Experience with 3D graphics
- Experience within robotics
- Swedish language skills, or willingness to learn
- Interest in simulation, intuitive programming, and digital twin concepts
