Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer / Technical Lead – Europe

We are looking for an experienced IT Infrastructure engineer to take global product ownership of one or more infrastructure services and in act as the technical infrastructure lead for the infrastructure and support team in Europe.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced IT Infrastructure Engineer to take ownership of one or more global IT infrastructure services within Cambrex — preferably focused on cloud/Microsoft Azure, but experience with other core infrastructure technologies in hybrid environments is also valuable.

Additionally, in his role, you will act as the technical team lead for all IT infrastructure in Europe withing our Global IT Infrastructure & Operations team.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Serving as a product owner and engineer for one or more global IT infrastructure services, managing the Development and Security activities.
• Configuring and deploying standardized global infrastructure solutions
• Ensure our external partners are managing assigned operational activities within your areas of responsibility
• Act as the technical last resort escalation point for operational matters
• Technical lead for the European staff in the Infrastructure & Operations team, ensuring the team progress according to roadmap.
• Managing project scopes, timelines, and deliverables

You will be based in Karlskoga and work in a truly international environment. Occasional travel within Europe is required.

Your Profile

We are looking for a candidate with a bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent professional experience. You have at least seven years of experience working with IT infrastructure, preferably within a GxP or similarly regulated environment. You are experienced in working with a Dev/Sec backlog in a SAFe Agile organization. In addition, you are fluent in Swedish, which is the primary working language, as well as in English, both spoken and written, and you hold Swedish citizenship.
