About the AssignmentWe are looking for an Operative Purchaser who enjoys combining structured purchasing work with hands-on problem solving.
In this role, you will help secure material availability for production by managing orders, following up deliveries, and collaborating closely with suppliers and internal stakeholders to find the best possible solutions.
Job Description- Place and manage purchase orders to meet technical specifications, price, delivery schedules, and terms.
- Proactively follow up on order confirmations and deliveries to ensure delivery dates align with production planning.
- Handle deviations and urgent shortages through efficient ad hoc problem solving and “firefighting” when needed.
- Collaborate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to resolve issues and secure sustainable solutions.
- Ensure purchasing activities follow corporate purchasing policies and procedures.
Requirements- Experience working with operational purchasing and order follow-up in a production-related context.
- Strong communication skills in both Swedish and English.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with both internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
