Nexer Engineering Process is looking for experienced Test Engineers within Infotainment / HMI testing for assignments with clients in the automotive industry in Sweden.
The need for structured testing of infotainment and user-facing vehicle systems is growing, and this role focuses on validating functionality, usability, and system behavior in modern automotive platforms.
Your role
You will work close to software and system development with a clear focus on Infotainment and HMI testing within automotive environments.
You will be responsible for:
Executing manual test cases for infotainment applications and HMI-related functionality
Performing regression testing and documenting test results
Identifying, reproducing, and reporting software defects and deviations
Validating functionality across different hardware and software configurations
Collaborating closely with developers, testers, and system engineers
Using tools for issue tracking, test case management, and documentation
Performing in-vehicle testing, including driving tests, using early development software
Your profile
Experience in software testing within automotive and/or embedded systems
Hands-on experience with manual test execution and defect reporting
Experience with tools such as Jira, CANoe, CANalyzer, or similar
Understanding of software development lifecycles, verification, and validation
Fluent in English, spoken and written
Valid B-class driver’s license
Meritorious experience
Experience with Infotainment, HMI, or user interface testing
Knowledge of Android Automotive OS (AAOS) and/or QNX
Understanding of in-vehicle communication protocols (CAN, LIN, FlexRay)
Experience with CI environments or test automation
Previous experience within the Swedish automotive industry
