Assignment OverviewWe are looking for a junior Laboratory Engineer for a product-focused laboratory assignment. The role combines hands-on laboratory work with analysis, documentation, and method development. The primary focus is on functional product and material testing rather than molecular-level chemical analysis. You will be part of a cross-functional and diverse laboratory team with varying backgrounds and experience levels. The assignment offers strong opportunities to develop skills in project work, test methodology, and statistical analysis. Key ResponsibilitiesParticipate in development, innovation, and value engineering activities Plan, perform, and analyze tests on new products and materials Conduct statistical evaluation of test results Document, summarize, and present results, providing clear recommendations Develop, evaluate, and validate new laboratory methods Required QualificationsTechnical university degree, preferably in materials engineering or chemistry (preferred but not required) Previous experience working in a laboratory environment Experience with statistical analysis Strong communication and documentation skills in English Comfortable combining practical and theoretical tasks in a laboratory setting Personal AttributesCurious and solution-oriented mindset Enjoy working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment Collaborative and communicative, comfortable working with others Able to work independently as well as part of a team Motivated to contribute to product innovation and continuous improvement Additional InformationSelection and interviews are conducted on an ongoing basis, and the assignment may be filled before the final application deadline.
