We are looking for an experienced
SYSTEMS ENGINEER who wants to work with advanced, multidisciplinary products and platforms in a high-tech development environment. In this role, you will be a key player in defining system architecture, managing requirements, and ensuring successful integration across hardware, software, and mechanical domains.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to the full system lifecycle — from early concept and requirements definition to verification, validation, and industrialization.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Define and manage
SYSTEM ARCHITECTURE AND REQUIREMENTS for complex products
Translate stakeholder needs into
CLEAR, TESTABLE SYSTEM AND SUB-SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS
Break down system requirements into
HARDWARE, SOFTWARE, AND MECHANICAL SPECIFICATIONS
Ensure
SYSTEM CONSISTENCY, TRACEABILITY, AND COMPLIANCE throughout the lifecycle
Lead and participate in
DESIGN REVIEWS and technical decision forums
Coordinate cross-functional teams across
ELECTRONICS, SOFTWARE, MECHANICS, SAFETY, AND MANUFACTURING
Manage
INTERFACES AND SYSTEM INTEGRATIONS
Support
VERIFICATION AND VALIDATION (V&V) activities
Perform
SYSTEM-LEVEL RISK ANALYSIS (FMEA, HARA, hazard analysis)
Ensure compliance with
RELEVANT INDUSTRY STANDARDS AND REGULATIONS
Contribute to
INDUSTRIALIZATION, CHANGE MANAGEMENT, AND MODULAR SYSTEM DESIGN
WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO HAVE:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in
SYSTEMS ENGINEERING, ELECTRICAL/ELECTRONICS ENGINEERING, MECHATRONICS, or a related field
MINIMUM 4 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE in systems engineering or a similar role
Strong understanding of:
Systems engineering principles (
V-MODEL, REQUIREMENTS MANAGEMENT, SYSTEM ARCHITECTURE)
HARDWARE–SOFTWARE–MECHANICAL INTEGRATION
EMBEDDED AND DISTRIBUTED SYSTEMS
Experience with requirements management tools such as
DOORS, POLARION, JAMA, OR CODEBEAMER
Knowledge of
SYSTEM VERIFICATION & VALIDATION METHODOLOGIES
Familiarity with
FUNCTIONAL SAFETY AND RELIABILITY CONCEPTS
PROFESSIONAL PROFICIENCY IN ENGLISH (REQUIRED)
IT WOULD BE A GREAT PLUS IF YOU HAVE:
Experience in
AUTOMOTIVE OR COMMERCIAL VEHICLE SYSTEMS
Knowledge of
ISO 26262 AND/OR IEC 61508
Experience with railway standards
EN 50126 / 50128 / 50129
Exposure to
ELECTRIFICATION SYSTEMS, POWER DISTRIBUTION, BATTERY SYSTEMS, OR CHARGING INFRASTRUCTURE
Experience with
MODEL-BASED SYSTEMS ENGINEERING (MBSE) TOOLS SUCH AS SYSML, ENTERPRISE ARCHITECT, OR CAMEO
Understanding of
CYBERSECURITY REQUIREMENTS for industrial or vehicle systems
Familiarity with
PLM AND CONFIGURATION MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS
Experience working in
GLOBAL, CROSS-FUNCTIONAL DEVELOPMENT TEAMS
FLUENCY IN SWEDISH (CONSIDERED A STRONG PLUS)
