Music Teacher to IES Skellefteå We are looking for a qualified Music teacher to join our team in August 2026. IES Skellefteå opened in 2019 and offers outstanding bilingual education to around 500 students between grades F-9, and fulfilling career opportunities for around 85 employees.  Being part of IES means that you will be part of a truly international environment on a daily basis. About the position The position is a full-time ferietjänst starting in August 2026. Probationary period applies for the first 6 months (provanställning).  Main duties include but are not limited to: - Teaching music from grades 1 to 9 - Provide a stimulating classroom environment for effective teaching and learning - Maintain the positive ethos and core values of the school, both inside and outside the classroom - Report to parents on the development, progress and attainment of students - Mentorship of students is included in this position as well Who are you? - You have a Swedish lärarlegitimation or if internationally qualified, a teaching licence/registration as well as a Bachelor’s degree and teaching qualification - Good knowledge of the English language - You have knowledge of and share the values ​​and ethos of the International English School* - You are passionate about development and a collegial approach - You are enthusiastic, positive, committed and a cooperative team player, willing to go the extra mile for students and colleagues - In addition to teaching meaningful and enjoyable lessons, you are well organised, take pride in your mentorship and other school duties - You are an outstanding role model for our students * For more information about our school, please see www.skelleftea.engelska.seApplications are only accepted via the IES Careers database, where you will be able to attach your CV, personal letter and professional/educational certificates.
