Assignment Description

We are looking for a Senior QA Tester

What You Will Work On

Testing & Quality Assurance

• Analyze product requirements and technical designs to identify test coverage gaps and quality risks
• Perform hands-on manual testing, including system, integration, and regression testing
• Design and maintain test cases, test data, and validation scenarios for complex and configurable solutions
• Execute and contribute to automated end-to-end test suites, focusing on high-risk and regression areas
• Decide when manual vs automated testing is most appropriate, especially for device- and measurement-driven scenarios
• Identify, document, and follow up on defects through to resolution

Automation & Quality Leadership

• Contribute to the design and evolution of the test automation framework
• Drive the adoption of automation practices across the team
• Support the transition from manual testing toward automation ownership and leadership

Collaboration & Ways of Working

• Actively participate in agile ceremonies (sprint planning, PI planning, reviews, retrospectives)
• Provide clear test reports and quality insights to stakeholders
• Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and designers to embed quality early
• Mentor and onboard testers and developers in testing mindset, automation, and quality ownership

Continuous Improvement

• Ensure traceability between requirements, test cases, and validation results
• Identify opportunities to improve test strategy, tooling, and processes
• Support ad-hoc testing and quality initiatives when needed

What You Bring

Required Experience & Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with manual testing of complex, configurable, and regulated systems
• Ability to independently own the full testing lifecycle (strategy, design, execution, reporting)
• Experience working in environments transitioning from manual testing to automation-led quality
• Solid background in test automation frameworks, including early-stage development
• Hands-on experience with TypeScript, Playwright (web), and Maestro / WebDriverIO (mobile)
• Experience writing automation scripts using Node.js / TypeScript or Python
• Strong understanding of Gherkin and BDD principles
• Proficiency in tools such as Jira and Confluence
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Experience mentoring teams on quality and automation best practices
