Assignment Description
We are looking for an experienced engineer
What You Will Work On
- Define high-level system and software architecture for the complete propulsion system
- Develop and refine inverter and motor control algorithms, including PWM-based control
- Ensure stable motor control performance across the full operating range (0–20,000 rpm)
- Build and maintain a detailed MATLAB/Simulink simulation model capturing system physics and dynamics
- Use simulation models to front-load and accelerate software development
- Analyze system delays (e.g. communication and radio transmission delays) and define mitigation strategies
- Improve and modernize existing models and code, including migration to the latest modeling environments
- Verify system stability in bench setups, battery pack configurations, and full vehicle environments
- Define test cases and establish unit and integration testing environments
- Produce technical documentation including design descriptions, test results, and investigation reports
What You Bring
- Strong experience in electric motor control and inverter algorithms
- Deep knowledge of PWM control, sinusoidal current generation, and propulsion systems
- Advanced skills in MATLAB/Simulink and model-based development
- Experience with system-level simulations and control stability analysis
- Understanding of embedded systems, electronics, and communication technologies
- Background in software engineering, verification, and testing methodologies
- Ability to structure, document, and communicate complex technical solutions clearly
