About the Job
On behalf of our client, we are looking for a highly experienced Plasma Diagnostics Scientist to join an advanced experimental R&D environment focused on high-temperature plasma and multiphysics systems for next-generation energy technologies.
This role offers the opportunity to work close to experimental facilities and contribute directly to the development of advanced diagnostic systems used to measure and analyze complex plasma behavior.
About the Role:
As a Plasma Diagnostics Scientist, you will play a key role in the development, operation, and analysis of plasma diagnostics systems used during experimental campaigns. You will act as a subject matter expert in diagnostics, supporting experiment planning, execution, and data interpretation.
You will work in close collaboration with mechanical and electrical engineers, software developers, physicists, and data specialists, and help guide the technical direction of diagnostics development for future experimental programs.
Your Key Responsibilities:
Develop and improve diagnostic methods for measuring plasma and related physical parameters.
Participate as a subject matter expert during experimental campaigns and support real-time and post-experiment analysis.
Coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams across engineering, software, and physics.
Support design, integration, and calibration of diagnostic instrumentation and data acquisition systems.
Contribute to planning of future experiments and diagnostics roadmaps.
Participate in scientific documentation and reporting of experimental results.
