As our company continues to grow, we are now looking for an Operative Test Lead who wants to combine test leadership with hands-on testing within our Sales & Marketing systems. This role is for someone who enjoys leading by doing-planning and coordinating testing, while also being actively involved in daily test activities. Your future team You will be part of our ITQA team, responsible for quality assurance of software deliveries of several of our most critical and complex IT systems and solutions. In day-to-day work, our QA/Test Engineers are embedded in development teams that develop and maintain different products and services. As part of ITQA, you will belong to a team of QA professionals who share the same view of quality assurance and who work together toward continuous improvements and increased quality in our software deliveries. What you'll do here as Operative Test Lead? As an Operative Test Lead within ITQA, you will take overall responsibility for QA and testing within the Sales & Marketing domain, covering systems that support the sales process, customer and partner journeys, CRM, and related integrations. You will work closely with the developers, product owners, and other stakeholders to ensure high quality deliveries. In this role, you will drive quality across our software deliveries and IT solutions within the Sales and Marketing system area. This is not a purely coordinating role-you will actively participate in test design, execution, and analysis, and you will spend a significant part of your time working hands-on with testing as part of the development teams. Some of your responsibilities will be: * Lead and coordinate QA and testing across teams and stakeholders * Drive quality throughout the development lifecycle, from requirements to production * Create and maintain test strategies, test plans, and risk assessments * Actively design, execute, and evaluate test cases * Support and contribute to test automation where applicable * Coach teams in quality practices and promote a strong quality mindset * Continuously improve the QA and test processes and ways of working Who are we looking for/Who are you? We are looking for someone who wants to combine test leadership with hands-on testing, someone who enjoys leading by doing and staying close to the hands-on testing work. You think about quality early in the process and continuously throughout the entire software development lifecycle, and you are comfortable taking responsibility for quality in close collaboration with the development team. We believe you have * Several years of experience in software testing, with a strong hands-on background * Experience in a test lead or senior tester role * Solid understanding of test methods, test design techniques, and defect management * Experience testing complex systems with integrations (Sales, Marketing, CRM is a plus) * Ability to balance operative test work with coordination and stakeholder communication * A pragmatic mindset-you focus on quality where it matters most.
