Are you a systems thinker with a passion for solving complex nuclear backend challenges? We're looking for a Nuclear Back-End Management Engineer that will play a vital role in Blykalla’s strategy and delivery for radioactive waste and spent nuclear fuel management. What you’ll get to do
As a Nuclear Back-End Management Engineer, you will play a vital role to find feasible treatment methods and disposal routes for radioactive waste and spent nuclear fuel from Blykalla’s SEALER reactors. Waste management is covered by extensive frameworks and demonstrating compliances is a cornerstone of nuclear licensing.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about finding sustainable and economical ways to manage spent nuclear fuel and radioactive waste and wants to make a difference in an innovative environment. You will work closely with more experienced nuclear engineers and support our design team and nuclear safety team.

You will play a vital role in defining and delivering Blykallas approach to spent nuclear fuel and radio active waste management - spanning technical feasibility, regulatory engagement.

You understand that nuclear waste and spent fuel is not just a technical challenge but also a matter of public trust and long-term accountability. You communicate clearly, plan proactively, and keep progress moving even when the answers aren’t all there yet. You are confident presenting in high- profile settings - whether at regulatory meetings, or expert workshops - and can translate complexity into clarity. You’re curious, pragmatic, and motivated by impact - ready to help build something that lasts.
