Assignment Description

We are looking for a Mainframe COBOL Developer

What you will work on

• Develop and enhance solutions on mainframe/zOS as part of a modern product team
• Modernize customer master data on core mainframe platforms
• Integrate mainframe systems with newly acquired and distributed platforms
• Enable real-time data flows between mainframe and distributed systems
• Work with event-driven architectures and technologies such as Kafka
• Collaborate closely with developers, architects, and product roles in a cross-functional setup
• Participate throughout the full development lifecycle from analysis and design to deployment and follow-up
• Contribute to the ongoing upgrade and modernization of the mainframe environment

What you bring

• At least 9 years of experience developing on mainframe/zOS environments
• Strong knowledge of COBOL/iCOBOL, DB2/SQL, JCL, and IDz
• Experience working in complex, enterprise-scale systems
• A collaborative mindset and willingness to drive change
• Strong interest in using technology to solve business challenges
• A modern development mindset with engagement across the full development lifecycle
• Fluency in English; knowledge of a Scandinavian language is an advantage
