We are looking for a CAE Engineer to support a Chassis & Vehicle Dynamics team working with both current and future vehicle platform concepts. In this role, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional attribute teams to align suspension system performance, contributing to data-driven decisions through simulation and analysis in a technical, collaborative environment.

• Support studies of current and future platform concepts within Chassis & Vehicle Dynamics
• Collaborate with attribute teams to align and balance suspension system performance
• Build and analyze kinematic models for package studies
• Perform Kinematics & Compliance (K&C) analysis on suspension layouts
• Run lap simulations and vehicle dynamics evaluations
• Perform ADAMS simulations and build ADAMS RT models
• Improve queuing behavior in the driving simulator
• Improve brake and steering feel in the driving simulator

• B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent)
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Chassis System Development
• Strong understanding of chassis system and concept development
• Ability to balance attribute requirements such as NVH, vehicle dynamics, durability, corrosion and brakes
• Experience with multiple suspension system layouts
• Vehicle dynamics competence and understanding
• Tool experience: MS Office, Adams, Matlab/Simulink, ADAMS RT, lap simulations, VI-grade, simulator software setup (DIM 250), Autohawk 64

• Experience collaborating in international, multicultural engineering environments
• Agile and solution-oriented way of working in cross-team settings
