Come and join our Engineering Division, based in Tranås Sweden, where we have our cross-functional teams located under one and same roof with development testing, prototyping and production. The teams consist of skilled, motivated people with diverse expertise and backgrounds.

We are looking for a candidate who wants to take lead in developing our next generation of nitrogen gas springs and related components. You have experience in product development as a mechanical engineer who is also interested in leading development projects as a natural part of your career development! This is a role for someone who enjoys creating smart, safe, and reliable mechanical solutions — and who thrives in a supportive, collaborative environment.

Main tasks and responsibilities

· Lead development projects of nitrogen gas springs, manifolds, and accessories. Coordinate cross-functional work, and drive design reviews

· Coordinate with cross-functional teams and drive project progress

· Support prototype builds, testing, validation, and industrialization activities

· Create 3D/2D CAD models, specifications, and engineering documentation

· Ensure manufacturability, cost efficiency, and compliance with safety standards

· Contribute to a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

Your profile

· Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar with a couple of years’ experience in product development

· Experience in pressure-related systems

· Strong CAD skills and understanding of materials, sealing, and pressure system design

· Ability to lead technical tasks and drive projects forward

· Analytical, structured, and communicative team player - you value teamwork as much as technical excellence

· A curiosity to learn and grow; leadership experience is a plus but not required

It’s a clear advantage if you have experience from the sheet metal industry, metallic materials, properties, and techniques including knowledge of manufacturing processes and industry standards!
