At Tata Technologies we make product development dreams a reality by designing, engineering and validating the products of tomorrow for the world's leading manufacturers. Due to our continued growth, we are now recruiting for a Lead Engineer - Digital key, to strengthen our team in Gothenburg.

The role:

The team that you will work with are responsible for the hardware development of our Digital key solution and surrounding interface components. Your team is managing the development at the suppliers to ensure our requirements; time plans are met also considering cost efficiency. The digital key platform team develop digital key hardware, verifies and validates the end customer behavior as well as manage our suppliers.

Main responsibilities

• You will primarily be working on next gen digital key hardware.
• As a Lead Engineer you will continuously work with securing the deliveries for our customer production and aftermarket.
• A key responsibility is to compile the technical requirements from the various stakeholders and make sure that the supplier has accepted the scope for the development.
• Later in the development review the test and validations results together with the supplier.
• You are the project leader in the team that consist of several HW Engineers and SW Responsible and of cause the suppliers that we work closely with.
• You are responsible for the time plan and for planning the activities and collaborate with our different internal interfaces (attributes, mechanical integration, SW development etc.) and external suppliers.

Knowledge / Experience

• We are seeking candidates, with product development experience from automotive industry, who exhibit flexibility, self-drive, reliability, and strong teamwork skills.
• You probably have a B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree in Electronics, Computer science, Automation or equivalent with relevant experience.
• Having worked within the automotive industry with diagnostics, integration of software, software testing or managing/owning electronic components for release to production or similar is meritorious.
• Having an interest in our products and components, and a drive to learn and develop are very important qualifications.
• You like to meet people and support the roll-out of our new technology.
• You are engaged with a curious, open-minded and positive approach.
• You like structure and have things organized and well planned.
• Fluency in English is mandatory.
