Due to our continued growth, we are now recruiting for a skilled Software Developer (Android Automotive), to strengthen our team in Gothenburg.

The role:

We offer you to work in a small cross functional team, with high focus on quality and continuous improvements. The team is focused on Media Center, Navigation and Voice Control.

Main responsibilities

• Together with your colleagues you will develop and enhance the functionality in the car to give the end user a great experience.
• You will design and develop touch-based user interfaces to control various parts of the vehicle.
• The development is done in full stack environment using Java/Kotlin, Python and the Android tool set.
• You will use the latest tools and technologies available and collaborate with partners and other teams to deliver state-of-the-art software. Automated testing is central to the project so you should have good knowledge of software testing, test driven development and the tools commonly used to implement them in Android development.
• In our team we are also involved in testing and trouble shooting in real vehicles which gives interesting real-life insight in our products.

Knowledge / Experience

• You have a M.Sc. or a B.Sc. within Electronics, Software Engineering or similar and you have several years’ experience of Android app development and have good knowledge in Android Java, Kotlin and Android Studio.
• You will bring experience in AOSP and the AOSP build system, and you are familiar with modern app architectural patterns (MVP, MVVM, layered architecture, refactoring)
• You have a good knowledge of Android testing frameworks (Junit, Espresso, Mockito) and you have experience in Continuous Integration.
• You have good English skills, both written and spoken.
• Preferably, you have a valid driver’s license, B-level

Desirable

• Experience in development in Android automotive
• Experience from Automotive Infotainment
