Contribute to further enhancing and developing the first line of defence function for the market risks in the banking book, with focus on continuous improvement and value creation.
Provide analytical support to Group Treasury Front Office to enable balance sheet optimisation and market risk hedging, including scenario analysis and decision support for senior stakeholders.
Partner with business areas to understand the key balance sheet drivers and risk implications, supporting strategic balance sheet steering.
Perform periodic and ad hoc reviews of the market risk limits and of the underlying limits framework to ensure they remain effective, forward-looking and aligned with the bank’s risk appetite.
Drive improvement initiatives for risk processes and reporting and contribute in developing the market risk analytical tools, with emphasis on automation, efficiency and quality.
Assess the implications of stablecoins and digital currencies for the balance sheet and related market risk exposures.
3+ years of experience working with Asset & Liability Management, Market Risk (banking book and/or trading book), IRRBB, Counterparty Credit Risk or similar areas.
Strong academic background with a Master’s degree in a relevant field, e.g. Economics, Finance, Engineering or Mathematics.
Strong analytical skills and solid working knowledge of banks’ balance sheet, income statement, market risks and relevant regulations.
Ability to carry out tasks with limited guidance combined with a strong drive for continuous improvement.
Ability to focus on the big picture and explain complex matters in a simple and comprehensible way.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Experience with relevant analytical tools and/or programming languages (e.g., Power BI, SQL, SAS, Algorithmics, FIS BS Manager, Python, QRM).
Genuine interest for following macroeconomic and market developments.
Experience or a strong interest in digital assets will be appreciated.
