Assignment Description

We are looking for a Senior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE)

What You Will Work On

• Build and lead the SRE practice within a modern Azure cloud environment
• Collaborate with development and platform teams to embed SRE principles across the software lifecycle
• Define monitoring, observability, and incident management strategies
• Drive automation to reduce manual operational tasks
• Lead incident and problem response efforts, including root cause analysis
• Mentor and guide teams on best practices for reliability, scalability, and cloud operations
• Continuously improve operational practices and reliability metrics
• Establish a sustainable SRE operating model aligned with business and technical goals
• Actively contribute to Azure modernization projects and cloud-native initiatives

What You Bring

• 5+ years of professional experience in IT or SRE roles
• Proven experience in Site Reliability Engineering, collaborating with development teams
• Deep knowledge of Azure cloud services, including Azure Functions, Container Apps, App Services, SQL Azure, Cosmos DB
• Strong understanding of databases (SQL & NoSQL), backups, and recovery processes
• Proficiency in software development for automation (C#, Node.js, Python, or similar)
• Practical experience with Azure DevOps, Git branching, and code review processes
• Good understanding of networking, especially Azure virtual networks
• Knowledge of incident and problem management
• Collaborative team player with experience driving change in large organizations
• Clear and confident communicator with strong stakeholder management skills
• Structured, proactive, and methodical approach to problem-solving
