Software Developer – Web & Mobile Applications

For our office in Linköping, where the digital and software development happens, we are now looking for a Developer – Web & Mobile Applications.

The world is in the midst of an energy transition from fossil fuels to renewable energy sources. We have developed a wide range of smart heat pump solutions built on modern software. The products are suitable for everything from small apartments to large property complexes and entire residential blocks. The next generation of heat pumps are not only very energy efficient but also designed to be an active node in the electrical grid. Qvantum has developed a series of new capabilities for this purpose including our heat pump to grid (HP2G), flexready®, thermal battery and digital doctor features.

About the role

At Qvantum, software is a key enabler in how we design, operate, and continuously improve our heat pump solutions. As a Software Developer – Web & Mobile Applications, you will develop applications that are used daily by installers, service technicians, partners, and internal teams across Europe.

Your work will directly influence how Qvantum’s products are experienced in the field. From intuitive user interfaces to stable releases and reliable functionality, you will help turn complex technical systems into user-friendly digital tools. The role is hands-on and product-focused, with clear ownership of Qvantum’s web and mobile applications and close collaboration with other developers, product owners, and technical teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and evolve Qvantum’s web applications in React and mobile applications in React Native, using TypeScript as a core part of the codebase
• Ensure high quality and reliability through structured testing, including test automation of application functionality
• Manage and execute application releases, distributing new versions to users in a controlled and stable way
• Work with a strong user focus, translating real user needs into intuitive, functional, and robust application features
• Collaborate closely with other developers, product owners, and adjacent technical teams such as IoT, backend, and data

Desired Qualifications & Experience

• Experience developing modern web and mobile applications using React, React Native, JavaScript, and TypeScript, with a solid understanding of component-based frontend architecture
• Meriting experience includes backend development in Node.js, native iOS or Android development, IoT-adjacent applications, or API design.
• Practical experience transforming UI mockups and design concepts into well-structured, reusable components and complete application views
• Familiarity with version control workflows (e.g. Git) and working in a collaborative development environment
• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
• Strong communication skills in both Swedish and English, written and spoken
