About the position as Senior Hardware Engineer
In the role as Senior Hardware Engineer, you will be a key member of FlexQube’s development team with overall responsibility for the hardware.
The purpose of the role is to ensure high-quality solutions developed in line with customer needs and the long-term product strategy.
You will contribute throughout the entire product development process—from requirements specification and prototyping to testing, verification, documentation, and release.
You will work in parallel on multiple customer projects, adapting products to different applications and environments.
In addition, you will act as a technical specialist internally and in customer dialogues, and support continuous improvements related to cost, quality, scalability, and manufacturability.
You will be based at FlexQube’s headquarters in Mölndal and report to their Concept Manager.
The team is cross-functional and possesses expertise in mechanics, software, electrical engineering, and application.
Parts of the team are based in the US, making cross-site coordination and joint product development a natural part of the daily work.
The working approach is characterized by short decision-making paths, practical work, and a high level of technical involvement.
Your main responsibilities:
Serve as a technical specialist internally and in customer-facing dialogues, and contribute to improvements in the product range regarding cost, quality, scalability, and manufacturability.
About you
You have several years of professional experience where you have developed a solid understanding of electronics and hardware systems.
It is considered an advantage if you have experience in robotics, AGV/AMR, or other mobile systems and/or experience in PCB design and working with electrical CAD tools.
In addition, you have a post-secondary education in electrical engineering, mechatronics, or an equivalent field, and possess a strong overall technical understanding of how hardware, software, and control systems interact.
Furthermore, you have experience in product development, preferably in agile environments, from concept to release, and are accustomed to making well-founded technical decisions related to hardware design.
The role requires fluency in English, while proficiency in Swedish is considered an advantage.
