We are looking for a Hardware Asset Manager for a company in Gothenburg.

Start is ASAP, 11 months contract to begin with, possibility of extension after that. This role is 100% onsite in Lindholmen.

The Digital Key Platform team develops digital key hardware and ensures the full end-customer behavior meets expectations. We also manage and collaborate closely with our suppliers and manufacturing partners to secure a high-quality product.

To strengthen our team, we’re now looking for a Hardware Engineer with the main objective of developing hardware for our key fob solution.

In this role, you’ll join a team responsible for hardware development of our Digital Key solution and surrounding interface components. You’ll take an active role in securing quality and development maturity by driving technical decisions, collaborating across functions, and ensuring that verification and validation activities are properly executed and assessed.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Lead and drive hardware development for the Digital Key solution and key fob hardware

• Secure product quality by leading design reviews and supporting continuous improvement in quality and certification readiness

• Collaborate with experts and engineers, review test plans, and judge test results to ensure robust performance

• Work with design prerequisites / design specifications and ensure requirements are met throughout development

• Follow up with manufacturing partners and suppliers, ensuring alignment and execution during industrialization and production readiness

• Deep dive into both electronic and mechanical aspects of the hardware to secure complete system performance

• Coordinate development with partners, in-house development teams, and validation activities in an international environment

• Lead connectivity system hardware development, secure base concept requirements, and follow up all related development activities

You are a team player with strong communication skills and a genuine interest in technology. You’re comfortable working independently, taking ownership, and driving actions on your own initiative. You learn fast, think analytically, and approach problems in a structured and solution-oriented way. Your technical competence and ability to collaborate in complex situations will enable strong decisions and robust technical solutions.

We believe you have:

• A university degree in embedded electronics hardware / electronics hardware design, or equivalent skills gained through relevant experience

• Minimum 5 years of experience in hardware development within the automotive industry or consumer electronics market

• Experience working with FMEA, DV/PV testing, ISO-TS, and EMC
