Assignment Description:

• We are looking for an Interim BI & Data Warehouse Consultant to join our team for a temporary assignment.
• This is an interim role pending a permanent recruitment and requires a high level of independence, ownership, and delivery capability. You will be expected to quickly understand the existing BI environment and take full responsibility for business-critical data warehouses, data models, and reporting solutions.

What you will work on:

• Take full ownership of data warehouses and associated data models supporting business-critical reporting
• Work hands-on with SQL for data analysis, modeling, and data quality assurance
• Design and model new data structures linked to ongoing and upcoming development initiatives
• Develop, enhance, and maintain dashboards and reports for business stakeholders
• Perform ongoing maintenance of existing BI solutions, including reports, models, and data flows
• Ensure stability, performance, quality, and usability of BI deliverables
• Lead and drive the continued development of data warehouse and BI tools
• Collaborate closely with a small cross-functional team to identify and address new business needs for reporting and data visualization
• Define requirements and develop data models in collaboration with technical product owners and architects
• Act as the sole BI specialist in a small team, requiring strong ownership and independent execution

What you bring:

• 3–5 years of hands-on experience within BI, data warehousing, and data modeling
• Very strong and confident knowledge of SQL
• Experience working hands-on with data in production environments
• Proven ability to work independently and take full responsibility for end-to-end BI delivery
• Strong capability to quickly familiarize yourself with existing systems and BI landscapes
• Experience developing and managing BI solutions and report structures
• Analytical and problem-solving mindset with a strong focus on delivery and quality
• Experience with Snowflake as a data warehouse is a strong advantage
• Experience with Qlik for dashboard and report development is considered a plus
• Experience with ETL tools, data pipelines, and large data volumes is beneficial
• Background in retail or data-intensive environments is an advantage
