Fagersta Stainless är en av de ledande tillverkarna i världen av rostfri valstråd och dragen tråd. Vårt huvudkontor och produktion ligger i Fagersta, Sverige. I vårt valsverk produceras c:a 50 000 ton valstråd årligen varav ungefär 10 000 ton bearbetas vidare till dragen tråd. To become Europe’s largest production facility for stainless steel wire and bar. Do you want to take charge of this investment from start to finish? Then this is the role for you! As Investment Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the success of this major investment. You will be responsible for the entire investment process – from planning and budget control to follow-up and delivery. You will lead a project team of five people and report directly to the steering committee. The work involves both project management and technical evaluations of defined project specifications and proposals, where you will drive progress and create long-term value for the business. About the role Your responsibilities include reviewing the overall investment budget and setting relevant milestones, planning and executing projects within strict timelines and budgets, and developing project plans and communication strategies that create clarity and engagement. You will communicate investment expectations effectively to the team and stakeholders, monitor project progress, and deliver status reports, proposals, and presentations. Close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders is essential, as well as assessing resource needs, preparing budget proposals, and managing changes proactively. The role also requires identifying risks and creating contingency plans to minimize disruptions, while building and strengthening business relationships critical to project success. About you We believe that a technical project manager will be a good fit for this role. You have university degree, preferably in technology or previous working experience. You are proficient in oral and written Swedish and English, have experience of production, design or process engineering work and have experience of project work.
