Position Overview

We are building an intelligent AI platform on Microsoft Azure to transform how our teams work, learn, and deliver value. As an AI Developer, you will design and implement secure, real-time backend systems that connect large language models, knowledge graphs, and business applications. Collaborating with integration developers, data scientists, and product teams, you will help turn innovative ideas into scalable, production-ready AI features within the Azure ecosystem, empowering our teams and driving intelligent automation across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain scalable Python microservices, deployed in Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) or App Services,
• Implement retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) pipelines leveraging Azure OpenAI Service, Cognitive Search, and Azure Storage,
• Build and optimize integrations with Azure Machine Learning, AI Foundry, and Microsoft Fabric datasets,
• Collaborate with integration developers to securely expose LLM-driven functions and actions via Azure API Management,
• Work with MLOps engineers to automate model deployment, evaluation, and monitoring,
• Contribute to internal SDKs and libraries for prompt orchestration, embeddings, and evaluation.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Master/Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or similar education,
• 3+ years of professional Python development experience,
• Strong understanding of Azure services (App Services, Key Vault, Storage, Service Bus, OpenAI),
• Experience with LangChain, Semantic Kernel, or other orchestration frameworks,
• Familiarity with vector databases such as Azure AI Search, Pinecone, or Redis Vector,
• Solid grasp of asynchronous programming, REST API design, and OAuth 2.0 / Entra ID authentication,
• Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions),
• Experience in agile methodologies,
• Fluent in English; proficiency in Swedish is a plus.

Meriting skills:

• Experience with Azure ML or MLOps pipelines,
• Background in prompt engineering, model evaluation, or RAG optimization,
• Knowledge of data governance and responsible-AI best practices.
