Arbetsbeskrivning
Yora is not your average consultancy.
We are a new, dynamic player with big ambitions – built on freedom, forward-thinking, and tech excellence.
We’ve left outdated structures behind and are creating a company where developers have the space to grow, lead, and create something that truly matters – both technically and personally.
We are now looking for a Mobile Developer for one of our customers that is driving development within machine learning and new techniques that positively impact their user's health and wellbeing.
Primary Responsibilities
- Develop, refine, and maintain reliable, high-quality code for our mobile applications.
- Work closely with teammates to plan, design, and deliver features that directly impact the user experience.
- Contribute to different layers of the technology stack when needed, with room to expand your skills beyond your core area.
- Take part in design reviews, code reviews, and discussions that help shape our technical direction and improve our processes.
- Produce secure, scalable, and thoroughly tested software.
- Help monitor application performance and resolve production issues as part of a shared responsibility model.
- Collaborate with ML engineers and research teams to understand model behavior and ensure smooth integration into the app.
What We’re Looking For
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a similar discipline — or equivalent hands-on experience.
- At least 5 years of professional software development experience, including strong expertise in one native mobile ecosystem (iOS or Android).
-
Proficiency in at least one area of the following technology stacks:
Swift, SwiftUI, Kotlin, or Jetpack Compose (with some legacy Objective-C/Java exposure).
- Comfortable using modern Git workflows, CI/CD tools, and testing practices.
- Great English skills.
Bonus Qualifications
- Backend experience using Python, FastAPI, and Google Cloud services (such as Datastore, Cloud Storage, or BigQuery).
- An eagerness to broaden your skill set and contribute to various areas of the codebase.
- An interest in product-centric thinking and delivering meaningful value to users.
- Experience working in, or a desire to learn how to work in, product-driven development teams.
- A track record of being adaptable, proactive, and accountable in fast-moving environments.
- Experience helping teams grow, collaborate effectively, or improve their workflows.
