We are looking for a Head of Business Area Automotive Rest of World (RoW) that will lead Dirac’s business development, sales and marketing focus in Dirac´s automotive segments.

What you will do at Dirac
You will be responsible for and drive the overall objective of the BA Automotive RoW and follow-up on Dirac sales in the RoW Automotive market (excluding Greater China) through establishing contract with OEM´s and Partners.
You will lead a team of Sales Directors, while also directly owning a portfolio of key accounts.
You will work closely with the Head of Sales Great China to align on Automotive matters, and work in close collaboration with the CEO, Product Management and the rest of the Leadership Team to ensure global alignment on automotive strategy, product feedback, and market execution.
The position reports to our CEO, and you will be part of the Dirac Leadership Team.
Key responsibilities:
- Revenue Growth & KPIs - Accountable for Automotive B2B royalties and NRE (Non-Recurring Engineering) revenues.
- Build and maintain senior-level relationships with OEMs and Tier-1s, securing contracts and long-term engagements involving CEO and the leadership team.
- Personally own and manage a selection of strategic global accounts.
- Drive the transition from opportunity-driven sales to a structured, strategic account management approach.
- Drives B2B Marketing within with Automotive, developing marketing plans & tactical account plans
- Initiate programs with focus on improved overall customer engagement experience
- Identifies and manage external partners in globally as well as in local markets (Excluding Geater China) to accelerate business growth in as agreed within the leadership team of Dirac
- Manages Sales pipeline and Sales Directors adherence to forecast processes
- Provides product feedback to Product Management with objective to improve consumer attractiveness
- Align with the Head of Customer Solutions to ensure improved time-to-market and delivery efficiency.
- Responsible for leading and managing the employees within the Business Area Automotive Rest of the World (Sweden, Germany, Japan, South Korea and US)
- As members of the leadership team, you are responsible for contributing to the company’s strategic direction and overall performance.
Who you are
With 10+ years selling software solutions in automotive industries, preferably within audio or infotainment, that gives you a good understanding of local echo-system within automotive industry.
You have a passion for results that ensure sustainable growth for the business.
You bring structure, accountability, and discipline to the team and in the processes.
- Ability to develop and strengthen relationships with customers and end-users
- Channel-based sales experience, managing external partners
- Lead the transformation from opportunity-driven sales to structured sales
- Formulate a business development/sales strategy for customers and a tactical account plan to facilitate effective implementation and long-term stickiness
- Experience working both independently and, in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
- Experience with fast growth and rapidly changing organizations with a track record of actively implementing positive change
- Experience working in a structured approach using CRM systems
- Fluent in English as that is our corporate language.
- Holds a valid work permit to work in Sweden

Your main location will be at Dirac’s headquarters in central Uppsala.
