Nexer Engineering Process is looking for experienced ADAS Test Engineers to join our team, representing us at client sites within the automotive industry.

As part of Nexer, you will work at the forefront of advanced driver assistance systems, contributing to the development, verification, and validation of next-generation ADAS and automated driving functions. We seek engineers who combine technical expertise, structured analytical thinking, and hands-on testing experience.

What you will work with

As a consultant with Nexer Engineering Process, you will support leading automotive OEMs and suppliers. Your work will focus on testing, validation, and verification of ADAS functions at vehicle and system level.

Typical assignments include:

• ADAS Testing & Validation
• Plan, execute, and evaluate several ADAS functions according to defined requirements, test strategies, and safety goals
• Verify functional performance, robustness, and system behavior across all relevant driving scenarios and operational conditions
• Vehicle & Field Testing
• Conduct on-road, proving ground, and expedition testing under varied environmental and traffic conditions
• Support data collection and analysis during long-distance or cross-border test campaigns
• Test Planning & Test Case Development
• Define test strategies, test cases, and test scenarios based on system requirements and functional safety goals
• Implement scenario-based testing for sensors and sensor fusion systems (camera, radar, lidar)
• Data Analysis & Fault Tracing
• Analyze large datasets from vehicle logs and measurement systems
• Identify deviations, trace root causes, and support corrective actions with development teams
• Tool & System Handling
• Work with logging, calibration, and test tools (CAN, LIN, FlexRay, Automotive Ethernet)
• Ensure traceability and test coverage using structured test and analysis methods
• Cross-functional Collaboration
• Collaborate closely with system, software, and hardware engineers to ensure high-quality validation and test results
• Safety & Compliance
• Conduct testing following EHS standards, internal processes, and applicable automotive safety standards (ISO 26262, SOTIF when relevant)

Your exact responsibilities will depend on the client assignment, but the role always involves technical responsibility, structured testing, and active contribution to ADAS development.

Who we are looking for

We are looking for engineers with a strong automotive background and solid experience in ADAS testing and validation. You are analytical, quality-driven, and comfortable working both hands-on in vehicles and analytically with test data.

Your background likely includes:

• 5+ years of experience in the automotive industry, preferably in ADAS testing or validation
• Practical experience with vehicle-based testing, proving ground testing, and/or field testing
• Good understanding of ADAS architectures, sensors (camera, radar, lidar), and sensor fusion
• Experience with automotive communication protocols (CAN, LIN, FlexRay, Ethernet)
• Familiarity with test and analysis tools such as CANoe, CANalyzer, Matlab, Python, or similar
• Experience working with test cases, requirements, and defect tracking in structured development environments
• Valid Swedish B driving license (mandatory)
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Automotive, Electrical, Mechatronics, Computer Science, or similar)
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken
• Swedish language skills are a merit but not required

Meritorious experience:

• Field testing / expedition testing
• ADAS or automated driving system verification
• Safety-related testing (ISO 26262 / SOTIF)
