About the role

As a Back-End Developer at Clavister, you will work in a skilled and solution-oriented development team dedicated to our IAM products. These products handle thousands of users daily and are deployed in both public and private sector environments.

You will contribute to the continued development and evolution of our IAM solutions, with a strong focus on reliability, security and performance. The role involves close collaboration with colleagues in engineering, product management and customer success (application experts) teams.

Your responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain Java-based server-side software in Clavister’s IAM products

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve product quality and customer value

• Contribute to identifying and addressing technical debt in the software

• Contribute to a strong and sustainable engineering culture

Your profile

We believe you have several years of experience in back-end development and solid knowledge of server-side software development. You are self-driven, curious and comfortable taking ownership of your work. You enjoy solving complex problems and working closely with others in a collaborative environment.

Required skills

• Strong experience with Java and the Java ecosystem

• Experience developing asynchronous code

• Working knowledge of SQL

• Experience with Docker

• Familiarity with Windows and Linux environments

• Professional working proficiency in English

An extra plus

• Experience with other Identity & Access Management (IAM) solutions - either as developer or application expert/administrator

• Experience of Front-end development using HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript and React

• Experience designing and building complex systems
