Assignment Description:

We are looking for a Senior Embedded Linux OS Developer to join our dynamic team.

What you will work on:

• Develop and configure a Yocto-based embedded Linux operating system for an IoT sensor gateway
• Design and implement a resilient embedded Linux platform for deployment at customer premises
• Implement and integrate remote update functionality with existing update infrastructure
• Design and develop remote management capabilities for gateway monitoring and control
• Build gateway and proxy functionality to support remote sensor updates
• Perform hardware bring-up of existing sensor communication software on new target platforms
• Integrate sub-GHz sensor communication via serial USB interfaces
• Collaborate closely with the device software team on communication protocol implementation
• Support integration and migration of Python-based applications from the current gateway platform
• Ensure stable and reliable operation in industrial and mission-critical environments

What you bring:

• Strong hands-on expertise in embedded Linux development using the Yocto Project
• Proven experience building and customizing embedded Linux distributions for production systems
• Experience implementing remote update and remote management frameworks for embedded devices
• Solid understanding of industrial IoT gateway architectures and edge computing solutions
• Experience working with Ethernet and 4G/5G connectivity in embedded systems
• Familiarity with Python-based application integration in embedded environments
• Experience with hardware bring-up and low-level system integration
• Ability to design for resilience, reliability, and remote operability in industrial environments
• Strong collaboration skills and experience working in cross-functional engineering team
