Assignment Description:
We are looking for a Senior Kotlin/C Software Engineer to join our dynamic team.
What you will work on:
- Design, develop, and maintain a secure and reliable ATS Connectivity Solution enabling communication between onboard autonomous vehicles and offboard cloud or on-premise systems
- Build and operate identity and access management solutions using certificates to ensure unique vehicle identities and secure access control
- Implement telemetry and metrics collection from autonomous trucks to cloud platforms, including connectivity status, latency, and vehicle performance data
- Integrate logs and metrics into Grafana and Databricks dashboards to ensure high observability and system transparency
- Develop automated runbooks to proactively mitigate downtime and accelerate root cause analysis during incidents
- Implement robust security measures including encryption, access control, and continuous security updates to protect sensitive data
- Develop bring-up tools to support efficient deployment and system initialization
- Design and implement bandwidth-efficient Over-the-Air (OTA) mechanisms for transferring large files
- Enable real-time communication and updates between autonomous vehicles and cloud infrastructure
- Collaborate in an agile development environment with continuous integration, testing, and deployment
What you bring:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- At least 5 years of professional experience in software development within relevant domains
- Strong proficiency in Kotlin, with experience in C++ considered a merit
- Solid experience working with AWS cloud services
- Hands-on experience with gRPC and messaging systems, with Kafka knowledge as an advantage
- Familiarity with serverless architectures, Docker, and Kubernetes
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code, preferably using CloudFormation
- Knowledge of DynamoDB or similar NoSQL databases
- Strong understanding of security concepts including encryption, access control, and secure system design
- Experience working in agile development environments with continuous delivery practices
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within cross-functional team
