Ericsson AB Join our Team About this opportunity We are looking for a Strategic Product Manager (SPM) to drive feature, product, business, and strategy development and execution within our RAN portfolio. As an SPM, you will combine deep expertise in your specific area with the ability to lead high-level customer discussions across the full portfolio. You will play a key role in shaping strategic product direction, ensuring strong value propositions, and aligning product, market, and business strategies across the organization. What you will do •    Report to the Head of the respective segment •    Own and drive Main Requirements (MRs) •    Secure strong value argumentation and proof points for owned MRs •    Act as a driver for strategic topics and the strategic product plan •    Drive key topics across the full portfolio •    Drive and/or contribute to RAN Themes •    Ensure a cooperative and transparent working environment across PL Cloud RAN, Purpose-Built 5G RAN, PAN, and BNEW •    Actively contribute to colleague development by providing feedback and sharing knowledge •    Present confidently to customers at C-level, covering both your responsibility area and the broader segment and RAN strategy •    Build and maintain a strong network within Market Areas (MA) and key Customer Units (CUs) •    Ensure alignment between MA/CU strategies and Business Area (BA) strategy •    Maintain deep understanding of the market and ecosystem, with particular focus on key RAN competitors The skills you bring •    Minimum 5 years of experience in a product management or product development environment •    M.Sc. or Ph.D. in a relevant technical or business field •    Proven experience as a leader in product management or development environments •    Background spanning R&D, Market Area, and Product Management •    Broad understanding of the RAN industry, with the ability to identify emerging trends early •    Strong knowledge of RAN product requirements and their evolution with market needs •    High analytical capability, able to quickly derive insights and consequences from large data sets •    Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and build trust at C-level, both internally and externally •    Excellent communication skills and a strong ownership mentality •    Ability to take and clearly communicate difficult decisions in highly complex environments with conflicting interests •    Deep understanding of the BNEW portfolio; background in R&D, RAN project/program management, or KAM CTO office is highly valued •    Strong techno-commercial competence, combining deep technology and product knowledge with solid business acumen •    Proven ability to formulate strategies, manage portfolio complexity, define long-term product roadmaps, and translate strategy into execution •    Strong influencing and negotiation skills, with a strategic mindset and the ability to lead both directly and indirectly •    Proven people leader, capable of attracting and developing talent •    Challenger mindset with strong business insight into customer value •    Solution-oriented mindset, with end-to-end ownership perspective •    High level of energy, drive, and commitment •    Strong team player with a collaborative mindset
