Assignment Description:
We are looking for a Senior Test Vehicle Fault Trace/Uptime Engineer to join our dynamic team.
What you will work on:
- Managing delivery service activities prior to vehicle registration and handover to end users
- Performing harness and ETC builds based on project-specific requests
- Conducting electrical and mechanical fault tracing on complete vehicles
- Updating software and hardware according to approved work orders
- Executing repair work and de-preparation activities after vehicle life cycle completion
- Handling electrical fault tracing during rebuild phases where configurations are not fully developed or integrated
- Supporting product development by updating test vehicles in line with project requirements
- Providing on-site support at suppliers and participating in domestic and international expeditions
- Ensuring timely deliveries with the required quality level
- Supporting daily workshop operations and maintaining good order according to 5S principles
- Ensuring test vehicles are fully prepared, operational, and fit for purpose before testing activities
What you bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent extensive practical experience
- Minimum of five years’ experience as a workshop technician working with complete vehicles
- Strong knowledge of complete vehicle systems, including hardware, software, and EV platforms
- Proven experience in electrical fault tracing using computers and relevant diagnostic and analysis tools (e.g.
DSA, ZDS, VIDA)
- Experience with measurement and analysis tools such as CANoe, CANalyzer, and INCA is considered a merit
- Solid general computer skills and familiarity with Office 365
- Valid driver’s license (Category B) and forklift license
- Certification for high-voltage work (power up/power down) and hot work is considered a merit
- Intermediate proficiency in English, both written and spoken
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally on short notice
- Strong team-oriented mindset with a proactive, self-driven approach to problem solving
- Structured, confident communicator with the ability to take initiative and responsibility within the organization
