Are you ready to lead where it truly matters? As our next MTS Inspection Manager, you’ll be the driving force keeping our refinery safe, compliant, and running at its best. We’re looking for a quality‑driven Inspection Manager to run our inspection function end‑to‑end: planning, execution, compliance, and continuous improvement, so our assets remain reliable and our operations stay safe.

About the role

As an Inspection Manager you will be part of our Maintenance Technical Services(MTS). You will report directly to the MTS Manager and be a central figure in safeguarding the long-term reliability and compliance of refinery assets.

You will lead a smaller team of internal specialists and third-party providers. It is your responsibility to set expectations, assuring quality, and fostering a safety-first, compliance-drive culture.

Your key responsibilities:

• Lead and execute the annual inspection plan, ensuring every detail meets strict regulatory and internal standards.
• Oversee daily inspections activities and analyse inspection results and ensure timely follow-up actions and technical recommendations.
• Drive continuous improvements: push for smarter, safer ways of working
• Maintain and enhance digital tools for inspection planning and reporting.
• Collaborate across functions: Work closely with MTS, Production, Engineering, and Turnaround teams to schedule inspections that support safe, efficient operations with minimal disruption.
• Offer technical support and strategic advice to help align inspection practices across other Nynas facilities.

To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications and skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or similar technical field.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in inspection, integrity management, or pressure equipment compliance.
• Familiarity with PED, API, EN, and Swedish regulatory standards.
• Experience managing inspection teams and working with third-party inspection providers.
• Strong planning and coordination skills.
• Comfortable working in digital inspection systems.
• Fluent in both Swedish and English.
