In tthe role as a Test Engineer, you will work on a long-term assignment at our client, hands-on with connectivity modules (Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GNSS, Radio, Cellular, API) at module, integration, and system levels. The role includes working with both software and hardware, validating wireless protocols, troubleshooting integration issues, and ensuring the products deliver a seamless connected experience for users. Your work directly influences the performance and reliability of autonomous systems. Your responsibilities:

• Test wireless modules across environments and hardware variants.

• Verify backend/API connections.

• Design, build, run, and maintain automated regression tests for connectivity modules.

• Analyze logs and network traces, isolating issues to module, board, system, or backend.

• Transform repetitive manual checks into scripts.

• Contribute to test plans, traceability, coverage, and release notes.

• Publish dashboards tracking pass/fail, coverage, and stability.

Your technical bakgrund

• Master's/Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.

• 3+ years of experience testing wireless connectivity and backend/API flows.

• ISTQB certified or equivalent testing knowledge.

• Hands-on experience using sniffers/protocol analyzers and performing log/packet analysis, comfortable with gray-box testing.

• Scripting experience for automation (Python) and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins/DevOps).

• Valid driver’s license.

• Proficient in written and spoken English,Swedish language skills are meritorious.
